Week of 11/17/08 Training plans
Posting this on Sunday, not many showed up to Mountain bike today (11/16/08). A.G. had a great time today, weather was epic and your Dad is a machine - he is definately someone for us to aspire to as we get older.
Pah Rah's were fun today and there were a lot of people on the trail. Hopefully the police will do something about the people shooting guns near the trails.
Skill are definately getting better on that technical ride and I have to say that we motored up the 900ft climb to the chicken. Best day yet for me. Getting my climbing legs back, now I have to take off some extra pounds from all the ice cream and I should really start to fly up the mountains.
Tomorrow, I will be in the gym as my day is a little hectic. I plan to swim and run on the treadmill for about 4 miles or so. Will post tomorrow night and see if anyone is available for a ride on Tuesday.

Good job to those that rode today.

Nice run, I believe we were able to get in close to 4 miles, with some good intervals on hills. Had fun today.
Tomorrow, will probably be a gym day. Weather is looking bleak and it appears as though we are going to have some serious wind.
Everyone is on their own tomorrow. Will post on Friday to see if we can all get together for a long ride on Saturday if the weather is good.

C'mon Kenny
Get out and ride, the weather is beautiful. Yes, my Dad rocked the house yesterday, excellent condition for a 67-year old (who still thinks he's 30). I guess I am a near-40-year old who thinks he's....well, younger than that.
Trail was in excellent condish, ripe for burning sweet turns and hammering up the inclines with cool breezes to knock the sweat off the face. Life is good after any climb that goes 900 feet straight up.
I guess I should try and
I guess I should try and work harder this week too. Just post and if I can meet everyone for some more great training, I will be there. Last week was good for the training and I would like to keep it going.
